Upcoming Events at the
Recreation Center
The swimming lesson schedule is
out for the summer season and registration for the first session will be
held Friday, May 10th, from 5:30 to 7:30. The first session is a two week
session and begins Monday, June 13th. The charge for this two week session
is $36 for residents and $48 for non residents. Lessons are held in the
mornings between 10:00 and 12:00 and will be held Monday through Thursday
this year. The other two session for the summer are both three week
sessions. Registration dates for these sessions are Friday, June 24th
and Friday July 15th.
Classes for these sessions also
begin the Monday after registration (June 27th and July 18th). Fees for the
three week sessions are $36 for residents and $72 for non residents. The
pool is scheduled to open Saturday, June 4th. at 1:30.
The recreation center also
offers a wide variety of classes and activities ranging from pee wee t-ball
and basketball to senior citizen ceramics and exercise and includes a number
of team sports, karate, crafts, cooking, ceramics and special events. For
