Advisories
-
Do not leave your vehicles
running while unattended. This is against city ordinances and it also
increases the chance for your vehicle to be stolen. If you decide to warm your
vehicle up on private property we strongly suggest that you have a second key
made so you can lock your vehicle.
-
Please be conscious of speed
while driving through the neighborhood in all weather conditions.
-
Keep sidewalks and driveways
clear of any ice.
-
If going out of town during
the holiday season don't forget to contact District 4 (303-937-4444) and
request an extra patrol for your residence. If possible have your neighbors
pick up your mail and newspaper.
-
Keep emergency cold weather
kit in your vehicle. The following items are suggested: hat, gloves, blanket,
flashlight, candy bars, water, small shovel, cell phone and any other items
that may be of use in an emergency situation.
-
While shopping during the
holiday season remember to park in well lit areas. Do not leave any items in
plain view inside your vehicle. If possible shop in pairs.
-
Last but not least, keep an
eye out for neighbors and their property and do not hesitate to report any
suspicious activity.
