Join us for the Harvey Park picnic this summer. It’s being held on Saturday June 16th from 11am to 3pm at Bear Creek Park. It’s BYOB (bring your own blanket!), as well as food and drink.

Come get to know your neighbors, make new friends, and enjoy the beauty of Bear Creek Park! Word has it that there might be a fire truck for kids to check out–stay tuned.

Attendance at our last meeting was phenomenal!! This fact really makes me hope that more of our neighbors are concerned and interested in strengthening the association with ideas and action.

Everyone enjoyed meeting the managers from Home Depot. They are striving to connect more with Harvey Park and improve our customer service experience. They are also behind a home makeover of sorts. One house will get painted and another their flooring replaced. If you know anyone out there in need of assistance contact someone on the board or attend a meeting and let us know. The project specifics and selection process are still being tweaked.

In May we have officer nominations for vacancies that will come open this year. Specifically, we need two Harvey Park residents, with annual dues paid, to fill the positions of Secretary andTreasurer. Our Membership Committee head is retiring too!

It’s time to come to a meeting, meet your neighbors, and get involved in YOUR organization.

Harvey Park neighbors,

Spring is right around the corner and it’s almost time to start the yard work again! Keeping our homes and property presentable lends to the beauty and value of Harvey Park and what a great place it is!!

Another item that needs your time and talent is the Harvey Park Improvement Association. It’s a great
organization that exists only for the betterment of our community and neighborhood. New officers will
be elected soon as some of the “old guard” graciously bid a fond farewell. We need some of the new and
younger “lions” in the neighborhood to step up and take the organization into the future.

New committee heads will be needed too. They’re not full time jobs and with a little effort anyone can be successful.
So, come to the meetings and find a way to support our HPIA. Your $10 annual dues is a start but your
mind and body is needed also.
