Friday, April 1st, 2011Harvey Park is a great place to live. We are very fortunate to have really nice neighbors. However, I am going to try to be an even better neighbor!
Back in the day, everyone knew everyone. They had dinner together, game nights, Bible studies, shared babysitting. They had someone to look after their lawn or pets while on vacation. If someone was sick meals were brought. It would be so nice if we all could make an effort to get to know our neighbors. And it would make our community stronger!

Friday, March 4th, 2011Kelly Rogers, 1978 Alumni of John F. Kennedy High School wrote to say that her and her husband attended school during the years of busing, beginning in 1974. She was bused to Horace Mann Junior High School on 44th and Navajo. Her husband was still at John F Kennedy Junior Senior High School and the Globeville kids came there. Kennedy was a Junior Senior High since Henry Junior High didn’t open till January 1975. (more…)
